Skill development for children, one small step at a time
Strong learners are built from strong basics. Kidxcel breaks maths, English and science into more than 7,000 small skills, so your child can build each one in turn, with practice they can finish and progress they can see.
Skills your child can build
- Number sense, calculation, fractions, geometry, measurement and algebra.
- Phonics, reading, vocabulary, grammar and writing.
- Science thinking: observing, comparing, explaining and using evidence.
- Habits that last: focus, patience, checking work and learning from mistakes.
A path from Pre-K to Grade 9
Skills are grouped by class from Pre-K and Kindergarten through Grade 9 (Class 1 to Class 9), and by topic inside each class. A child can practise at their own class, revise an earlier one, or look ahead.
Practice is short, friendly and adaptive, so a child gains confidence before moving on.
Skills parents can see
Every skill has a score out of 100 and a gold medal for mastery. The family page shows what was practised, which skills are strong and which need a little more time.
